When bikers play Santa Claus for the children of Carémeau hospital

At the request of four associations, a large toy collection was carried out this Saturday, November 30 to brighten up the Christmas of children hospitalized at the Nîmes University Hospital.

They revved their bikes and aroused the curiosity of passers-by who took out their phones to immortalize the moment. The Christmas bikers were passing through Nîmes this Saturday, November 30 in the early afternoon.

Four associations, including three bikers (the Red Knights Chapter IV, the federation of Bikers of France, the Gatekeepers MC North-South crew and Moment entre Pin-up's) organized this Saturday morning a large collection of new toys in the parking lots of the Intermarché of Caissargues and B & M in Nîmes.

More than 300 donations already made

Then around fifty bikers, all dressed in Christmas-colored costumes, rode their gleaming machines from Caissargues to begin a procession which crisscrossed the city center of the city of Antonins before going to the Carémeau hospital.

“This major collection is for the benefit of sick children in the hospital, explains Guillaume Chiron. All services that directly or indirectly affect children, whether pediatrics or psychiatry, will be able to receive toys. We don't yet have the exact number, but we know that we have already exceeded three hundred donations. Without forgetting the circus and its orchestra!”, laughs the biker who has been working, with around twenty other volunteers, for three months to organize this event. With the sole objective of putting a smile on the face of children whose daily lives don't often lead to celebration.
