The Solidarity Christmas village returns for a third edition from December 4 to 8 at the bishopric park in Amiens (behind the cathedral). A moment of solidarity which will be the ideal opportunity to prepare your Christmas presents.
A commitment to citizen solidarity
32 chalets will be present and will propose handicraft creations made by people with disabilities. You can find hangings for the tree, wooden gifts or even some treats. This event, organized by the Department and the Departmental House for Disabled People (MDPH) of the Somme, allows people with disabilities to open up to the outside world and interact with visitors. Since September, people with disabilities have been working to make lanterns, night lights, table centerpieces, wreaths, cutting boards, board games, hand-sewn bags, etc. And they are happy to do this solidarity Christmas again this year. They will also sell pancakes and cupcakes on site.
During this solidarity village, lots of entertainment You will also be offered: shows, musical strolls, photobooth, film screening, face painting, Santa's chalet, letter writing workshops to Santa, ponies, floral creation workshops, recycling of equipment and technical aids…
