In 2024, the Department invites you to its sites to experience festive moments during the end-of-year celebrations. At the Château de Tiffauges, the Logis de la Chabotterie, the Haras de la Vendée as well as the Abbeys of Maillezais and Nieul-sur-l'Autise, the magic of Christmas takes over these heritage places.

A varied program is offered throughout the month of December with Christmas markets, concerts, shows and numerous activities.

Christmas at Haras de la Vendée : shows and activities for all from December 21 to January 5.

The Haras de la Vendée in La Roche-sur-Yon is adorned with its most beautiful colors to welcome you into its magical setting, where activities and shows will transport you to the magic of Christmas. Twice a day, the magic of the show Dream at the station will amaze young and old thanks to the performances of the artists and animals on stage.

The Logis de la Chabotterie : Family Christmas from December 7 to January 5.

On December 13, 14 and 15, Christmases in France are exhibited at the Logis de la Chabotterie. The site will be decorated to immerse you in a magical atmosphere, divided into different thematic villages: Vendée, the Antilles, Alsace, Provence and the Mountains. Free entry and entertainment.

Merry Christmas uncle!

Immersive show with Merry Christmas uncle! An original Christmas tale that allows you to wander through the heart of the rooms of the Logis de la Chabotterie. Accompanied by several actors in costumes, spectators will be immersed in the atmosphere of a Christmas Eve of yesteryear. December 7, 8, 14, 15 and from December 21 to January 5, six performances per day. Paid show. Reservation online or on 02 28 85 85 70.

Abbey of Nieul-sur-l'Autise : Mystery in Nieul from December 21 to January 5 (except December 25 and December 1^is January).

This year, the Abbey of Nieul-sur-l'Autise becomes the theater of Mystery at the Abbeya captivating investigation to find Christmas bells. Discover this place steeped in history by becoming part of this thrilling quest. Paid immersive show, five performances per day. Reservation online or on 02 28 85 85 70.

The Château de Tiffauges : an authentic and magical Christmas market from November 29 to 1^is December and from December 6 to 8**.

For 27 years, the Tiffauges Christmas market has invited visitors to enter into the magic of Christmas through the decorations of the castle and the sixty artisans present to offer a timeless experience. Free entry and entertainment.

Maillezais Abbey : an oriental, warm and festive journey from November 29 to 1^is December and from December 6 to 8.

The Maillezais Abbey fair takes you to the heart of the desert thanks to the oriental atmosphere of the stalls and tents decorated for the occasion. For an unforgettable immersion, entertainment will be offered all day long and artisans will be present to awaken the senses. Free entry and entertainment.
