Friday November 29 at 9 a.m., a convention renewed the Haute-Marne Departmental Council's commitment to the Telethon and marked the launch of the 2024 edition.
The two signatories are Brigitte Fischer Patriat, vice-president of the Departmental Council and Olivier Chantier, for four years departmental coordinator of the AFM (French Association for Myopathy) Téléthon. Under the terms of this agreement, the Council offers a check for €1,500 and makes a vehicle and premises available to the organization.
For its part, the AFM accepts the department's logo on its visual communication. Present were Céline Brasseur, Cindy and Dominique, members of the Téléthon team, Julien Maudhuy, director of Relais-Paris-Bâle, generous partner. No less than 50 contracts link local associations organizing events to the AFM. Among them, those which will take place in Fayl-Billot around the basketry, should be televised. Donations are exclusively collected by the Postal Bank, a guarantee of transparency, according to Olivier Chantier. Last year, Haute-Marne received €80,000, a sum which should be exceeded thanks to favorable weather. Those who suffer from myopathy or rare genetic diseases expect a lot from progress in science.
