It had been closed for almost three months.
The bar located in the town center of the town of La Regrippière (Loire-Atlantique) reopened on November 19.
The restaurant's activity resumed on November 25.
It is Gaëlle Roussière who is the new owner of the business.
The director of the establishment, which changed its name, is now called “Le Schiste”.
The business also stocks bread and newspapers. Gaëlle Roussière herself provides service at the bar and restaurant. Alix, his employee, is in the kitchen.
30 years in the restaurant business
She has worked in the catering profession for thirty years, including nine years spent in La Bruffière, in Vendée.
The former manager had organized 49 events
Laurent Dugray and his daughter Elisa ran the Saint-Jo' bar restaurant for three years. They took over the business in September 2021. “With Elisa, we gave ourselves between 3 and 5 years to create a story and this story ended at the end of August. We are satisfied with what we have done: 49 events in 36 months (excluding summer period) ranging from stand-up to concerts or gatherings of vintage and vintage cars. We brought in national level artists and each time we were sold out,” explains the former manager, who thanks his former clients. Laurent Dugray closed his company “Pizza Lolo” created on November 2, 2009 (pizza truck, caterer and catering). He is now head chef at “Bières Et Chopes” in Bouguenais and organizes the programming of events in an association “Le Barbeuk Metal Fest” for the restaurant but also for live artists. At La Regrippière, the adventure continues since it is part of the brand new association “Regripp' Anim”.
She seized the opportunity to return to La Regrippière and “to meet her former clients with pleasure having worked there for 6 months, a few years ago”, explains the new manager. It therefore takes over the current lease, the municipality being the owner of the walls.
Opening and proposed formulas
The establishment is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the restaurant from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the restaurant from 12 p.m. at 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; As well as Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (catering by reservation for groups).
Note that the business offers a homemade burger option to take away on Thursdays and Fridays.
And catering services on site on Saturday lunchtime and evening, by reservation.
