Among these various objectives, the first is “ to have a heart » vis-à-vis the population by being present with them, but also vis-à-vis the youth, as with the gendarmerie cadets, where a new session has just been created in Saintes, while the system met with real success in the department. It is also necessary to have a heart towards elected officials, explained the colonel, who also wishes to communicate more, by capitalizing on the success of the group, with the communication of the Charente-Maritime gendarmerie on social networks, which is the one of the most followed in the country thanks to its unusual content.
The second objective is “ to be open-hearted”in complete frankness with the authorities and internally. The third is “ put heart »working with energy and enthusiasm, being in the fray and the collective. Finally, the fourth objective is “ to be in the heart »territories, through presence on public roads, through society and partnerships, and through innovations.
« You have to be proud of your job”indicated the colonel, who also mentioned the possibility of new gendarmerie brigades in the department, the file of which was transmitted to the Ministry of the Interior.
