Noah Randazzo and FC want to continue their dream journey

FC (R1)
OC Cesson (N3)

A few months ago, Noah Randazzo roamed the grounds of the Slovak third division, Slavia Kosice. He was then far from imagining himself having the heyday of a double semi-finalist club in the Coupe de (1983, 1984). “I was without a club and Bryan (Bergougnoux) called me to come with him to Tours. And as I have blind trust in him, I did not hesitate for a single second”the 20-year-old laughs.

A great pick for the TFC, with a more than successful adaptation. The native of Stéphane, who passed through ASSE between the U10s and the U15s and spotted by his coach in the U17 Nationals in Andrézieux, is the top scorer for the Touraine team (ten goals this season, ahead of Abiola Badirou's nine).

“Decisive in key moments”

His contribution was notably notable in the Cup (six goals), thus equalizing in the 7e turn against US Montagnarde, in a very delicate match where the Ciel et Noir extricated themselves from the trap during the penalty shootout (1-1, 3-4 tab). “He is decisive, he is there in key moments, so he is a real strength”rejoices his trainer.

“Afterwards, he can still progress in the game. He works a lot, he is aware that he can improve his first touch, that he can be fairer in his choices”adds Bryan Bergougnoux, convinced that his young attacker, capable of playing on the wing or in ten, has the means to do even better.

He can in any case draw on his experiences abroad, having had a test at Slavia Prague (Czech Republic) before getting injured. “Slovakia was good because it trained me in a different type of game, with another culture. Being far from your family, young, being in difficulty, it strengthens you, especially mentally. I think that for the future, it will help me a lot”explains Noah Randazzo.

The heart and mind to triumph

Capacities that will be necessary for the 8e tour – a first since the 2018-2019 season – this Saturday, November 30 against OC Cesson (N3), where former AOCC Mathieu Potet plays. “We expect a tough match. It’s a great team, there’s going to be a fight. We're going to put our hearts and minds into it and, normally, if we use all the tools possible, it should do it, I hope.”assures the one who played in Thonon in U18 R1.

“The US Montagnarde had been so strong, I hope Cesson will not be abovesmiles Bryan Bergougnoux, who will not be able to count on Imrane Bouchema, suspended. But you have to be ready for that. We have studied them well and I hope that we will not make mistakes on identified things, as may have been the case on 7e tour. »

One thing is certain, for his first Coupe de France course, Noah Randazzo “is not satisfied. We have to look even further. Pulling a professional club, a Ligue 1, even a Ligue 2, that would be incredible. We would come in and play our game.” And ” dream “ which could become reality if successful. Enough to offer even more flavor when he returns home.

This Saturday, November 30 at 6 p.m., at the Vallée du Cher stadium.
