In her hairdressing salon in Retournac (Haute-Loire), Audrey Gire has a large space, sufficient to be able to offer other professionals in the sector the opportunity to work at her place occasionally. Today it was a nail technician, Audrey Argaud, who booked the morning through a brand new online platform made in Haute-Loire, Cowobo. She usually travels to her clients' homes. “It’s used to make yourself known because you come across people. When you're like me and you're just starting out, it's not bad. It also allows you to save on gasoline, which is very expensive today. »

The Cowobo platform is a fashionable innovation. It was designed by Laurent Gallien, Altiligère hairdresser during the pandemic. “This is aimed at young self-employed people, people at the end of their careers who want to work differently, employees who have left for other professions and who want to return to the beauty sector because it is difficult to recruit. This allows them to only work one or two days a week in establishments without having to run a business. We have many hair salons and beauty institutes in France which do not have their seats 100% full. »

Cowobo works like a Doctolib-type rental or reservation platform. Ultimately, customers will be able to directly reserve their slot and trigger the rental of the workspace. For hairstylist Audrey Gire, it’s a win-win solution. “It’s a very good idea. I don't understand why other people haven't thought of this before! » Developed throughout France, the collaborative platform is already a great success. It encourages collaboration, flexibility and allows professionals to enhance their workspaces.
