In September 2024, in Saint-André-de-l'Eure (Eure), it is the wasteland of the former Champion supermarket and the La Poste technical building which had been shaved. The land is enclosed and the construction of the center for multiple disabled people supported by Home Charlotte will begin.

The deconstruction of buildings and annexes of the Gouery wasteland is quite spectacular. It will free up a very large surface area, on which a intergenerational real estate program. “It is SILOGE which will carry out a supported housing program, more specifically dedicated to seniors and young people. The geographical location of the whole is very favorable, due to its close proximity to the town center. A plus that should appeal to tenants, particularly seniors,” confided Franck Bernardmayor of the city.

It is the Établissement Public Foncier de Normandie (EPFN) which is carrying out these deconstruction operations. After Gouery, Pelard butcherylocated on rue du Chanoine-Boulogne, in the city center, will be razed. “Asbestos removal operations are already underway and deconstruction will follow immediately afterwards,” specifies the mayor. The space created should allow the construction of a commercial space and several rental housing units.
