For the first year, the Bosc-le-Hard autonomy residence, in Seine-Maritimeorganizes a Christmas market.
Around ten exhibitors responded to the call and will be present Monday December 2 in the common room of the residence to sell their products.
“We called on our partners to thank them, as well as several merchants,” explains Charlène Duboc, facilitator within the establishment.
Open the residence to the outside
The event is on the initiative of the Saint-Jean association, the establishment’s associationof which Laure Mignon, the director of the residence, and Charlène Duboc are respectively president and treasurer.
We want to open the residence even more to the outside world.
“This type of event open to the public allows us to show how things work within the establishment and make them want to come”explains Charlène Duboc. And to add: “But it also allows residents to make their Christmas presents, some of whom are no longer necessarily able to travel. »
Clothing, jewelry, soap, accessories… Different types of items will be offered by exhibitors. “We will have a stand with the Saint-Jean association where we will offer products made by residents such as Christmas cards, as well as creations offered by outside people wanting to support us,” says the host.
We are very grateful for help from outside people
The profits will be used by the association for the residents' Christmas meal.
For this first friendly Christmas market, Charlène Duboc and Laure Mignon hope to have visitors and perpetuate the event afterwards: “We also take recommendations, which will allow us to do even better next year! »
