From the January 1, 2025public transport users in Île-de-France will see a new increase of the price of Monthly Navigo Passwhich will pass to 88,80 € against €86.40 currently, an increase of 2,40 €. This decision, which will be submitted to a vote by the directors of Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) on December 11, comes as part of a memorandum of understanding signed in September 2023. The latter sets a maximum increase in prices limited to annual inflation +1%. With inflation estimated at 1.8% for 2025, developments remain within this limit, making it possible to maintain the network while limiting the impact for users.

Impacted subscriptions

An increase explained by the financial agreement

Chaired by Valérie Pécresse, IDFM justifies this increase by a growing need for financing, despite the implementation of measures aimed at limiting the burden on users. The authority specifies that these increases are moderate thanks to the increase in Mobility payment paid by businesses and the contribution of communities, which will reach an increase of 2% in 2025.

Ce « tariff shield » thus guarantees that the annual increase will remain contained. However, users should expect regular fare adjustments until 2031expected date for completion of the current financial plan.

Furthermore, for occasional users, note that a new Navigo Liberté Pass + all zone will also be available at the beginning of January. You can now order your card to benefit from journeys at €1.99 instead of €2.50.
