Most of the programming is not yet known, but tickets are already selling like hotcakes. THE Xtrem Festwhich will take place from July 31 to August 2 at Cap Découvertein the Tarn has started to reveal its programming and it is tempting.

It is not the best-known musical festival in the region, its attendance figures and its headliners are far from those of Nîmes, Carcassonne or even Pause Guitare, in Albi… But connoisseurs know that they will not be not disappointed by this separate event in the summer calendar.

Programming that stands out from the others

By its programming already, since it is dedicated, as its name indicates, to extreme Music (punk rock, hardcore, metal and derivatives). But also by its setting, Cap Découverte, which offers camping, leisure areas and… beach! This allows it to organize special moments, such as an after-party on Sunday August 2.

Several cult groups

After a free warm-up in Carmaux on July 30, the serious things will begin. The Pollux association has indeed succeeded in bringing in the cult group for its twelfth edition Mass Hysteria ! Formed three decades ago, the industrial metal combo rocked the Olympia and most of the Zéniths, but also the biggest rock festivals, like Hellfest or the Sziget Festival in Hungary. He just released a new album, Tenacious part 2and a new clip, The compelling emotion.

But Pollux also announced the arrival of The Exploited a legendary Scottish punk band formed in the late 1970s, which laid the foundations of trash metal.

American hardcore punk band Bane, the Australians of Clowns and the Brazilian Karen Diówill also be part of the party. They won't be the only ones. There are still names to be announced. And not just a little. More than 30!

But be careful, you will have to act quickly. The ticket office is already taken by storm. All three-day “family” passes (at 97.44 euros) were sold in less than two days.For the moment, the three-day “early” passes at 107.69 euros remain, before the rest of the places open.
