The Moroccan women’s selection beat its Botswana counterpart by 3 goals to 1, Thursday at the Saniat R’mel stadium in Tetouan, in a friendly preparation match for the African Cup of Nations (CAN) football, scheduled for next summer in the Kingdom.
The goals for the Atlas Lionesses were scored by Ibtissam Jraidi (6th, 45+1) and Sarah Kassi (40th).
The women’s national team will play another friendly match against their Malian counterpart on December 3 at the Saniat R’mel stadium in Tetouan.
During CAN-2024, Morocco will play in Group A alongside the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal and Zambia.
