Île-de-France Mobilités will propose at the next budget vote on December 11 the increase in the Navigo pass to 88.80 euros per month, or 2.40 euros more than in 2024.
This is far from a surprise. After the announcement of a single pricing throughout Île-de-France with a metro-RER-train ticket and another dedicated to buses and tramways, Île-de-France Mobilités announced to BFM Paris Île- de-France the increase in the monthly price of the Navigo pass from 86.40 euros to 88.80 euros, confirming information from France Bleu Paris. This corresponds to an increase of 2.40 euros.
This new pricing will be submitted to the budget vote on December 11, specifies Île-de-France Mobilités. For 2025, the operating budget is set at 12 billion euros.
“What travelers pay is around 33% of the real cost of the Navigo pass,” explains Île-de-France Mobilités.
Development of the Ile-de-France network
And to add that it is a “controlled increase” in the amount of inflation increased by 1% for users.
For the communities, that is to say the department, the region and the city of Paris, this is a “shared” and “important” effort, i.e. an increase in the amount of inflation increased by 2% , underlines IDFM.
“Communities make the choice of transport,” adds the authority.
The organizing authority also wishes to point out that the Ile-de-France network develops from year to year and is today different from January 1, 2024, in particular with the extension of line 14 for example.
The network continues to expand, with the upcoming openings of the Grand Paris Express lines. As of December 15, the SNCF returns to 100%, including a complete return of the RER E with new trains, ensures Île-de-France Mobilités.
