The managers first thought it was a hoax

The two traders were extremely surprised when the chain contacted them. We wondered if it wasn't a hoax“, remembers Matthieu Peyne. After some time of reflection, the managers decided to seize this opportunity. A film crew then came to film their daily life for three days.

Cécile and Matthieu Peyne did not see the edited report. They will discover it at the same time as the other viewers. ” I'm waiting until everyone has seen it to see if I can watch it or not. I find it quite difficult to see yourself on screen“, declares the pastry chef. His sister specifies: ” We would just like to appear as we are. We were a little stressed, I hope it doesn't show too much in the images“.

The two traders hope that this report will show the reality of their profession, in particular the very long hours. They also see it as a way to prove that local businesses still have a future. The Proxy store in Pontarion supports five employees and two apprentices. The managers are also looking for new apprentices in pastry, as in sales.
