Around thirty members of the local water commission of the Fresquel water development and management plan (Sage), chaired by Jacques Dimon, met to work on the emergence of Sage Aude.
A collaborative and participatory tool for the balanced and sustainable management of water resources and aquatic environments, the Sage must make it possible to respond to the territory's water challenges. In a complex context concerning water in the Aude territory (agriculture, navigation, drinking water and different environments), the elected representatives of Smmar EPTB Aude, the structure supporting this policy, have chosen to launch a more globalizing and solidarity on the scale of the entire Aude watershed.
The reflections carried out in the Fresquel territory will contribute to the overall reflections carried out on the entire Aude watershed, going from the commune of Angles to the sea, via the Montagne Noire and the Corbières.
The objective of the approach is to achieve the structuring of Sage Aude during the year 2025, in order to enable a response to the major water issues in the region.
