Hungary supports the strengthening of the strategic partnership linking Morocco and the European Union

Hungary, which chairs the Council of the European Union until December 31, reaffirmed its constant position in favor of strengthening the strategic partnership linking Morocco and the European Union, according to the Joint Communiqué signed on Wednesday in Rabat, in the outcome of the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó.

The Hungarian minister, visiting the Kingdom, thus reiterated his country’s constant position in favor of strengthening the strategic partnership between Morocco and the European Union, reaffirming Hungary’s commitment to working to serve its interests, by strengthening ties and expanding cooperation with Morocco to new areas.

For its part, “Morocco welcomed the success of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the adoption of the Budapest Declaration on the new European agreement on competitiveness,” indicates the joint press release.
