(AOF) – European stock markets are moving into negative territory, still impacted by Donald Trump's statements on customs duties. Paris stands out unfavorably, weakened by the increase in French political risk. This is evidenced by the widening of the Franco-German spread to 87.5 points after reaching its highest since 2012. The government led by Michel Barnier could be subject to censure. In this context, the Parisian index is weighed down by financial stocks. In Paris, the CAC 40 fell by 1.18% to 7,109.34 points and the EuroStoxx 50, by 0.98% to 4,715.48 points.
