Haute-Corse comes alive from November 28 to December 1 for the benefit of solidarity initiatives. Among the highlights, the great challenge of the firefighters, who will leave Bastia at 2 p.m. sharp to join Bonifacio by rowing, accompanied by Olympic medalist Frédérique Kowal. This televised departure will be punctuated by entertainment: demonstrations by firefighters from the two Corsican departments, performances by the Watchers of the Shadows, exhibition of luxury collector cars, and much more.
Other events not to be missed:
- Borgo: Christmas market at the sports complex (11/28 to 12/01, 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.) and “caddithon” raffle at Carrefour (11/30).
- Bastia: solidarity sales at the Center Leclerc du Fango and Place d'Armes (29-30/11), dance shows at Alb'Oro (30/11, 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.), chess tournaments, badminton, and walks on the Aldilonda.
- Furiani: basketball tournament at COSEC (30/11, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
- Bastia (1/12): swimming day at the Carbonite swimming pool (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
A rich program that combines sport, culture and solidarity, to support local actions and causes that matter.
