La Chaise-Dieu: the car catches fire on the climb

Around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, a motorist saw his Mercedes car catch fire on an uphill stretch of the RD 906 in La Chaise-Dieu. The driver managed to park on the shoulder before his vehicle burst into flames.

The town hall of Saint-Germain-Laprade calls for the greatest vigilance after the receipt, a few days ago, by a resident on his mobile phone of a fraudulent SMS signed “SIVOM FeV” asking to send a RIB to reimburse the sum of 250 euros. The town hall warns of “these scam attempts which affect many public services and offer to regularize unpaid debts by transmitting your banking details or your personal data. We never ask for your bank details, whether by email, telephone or SMS. Langeac: embedded in a tree, with no one on board

At 11 a.m. on Sunday, a driver reported the presence of a Renault Scenic abandoned on the shoulder of the RD 590 in Langeac. Embedded in a tree, the minivan had the airbags triggered. The police were unable to contact the owner.

Sainte-Florine: he leaves the road under the influence of alcohol
