Senegal vs Kenya kicked off the 26th edition of CAN Handball. The Lionesses dominated the match from start to finish.
It was the first match of the competition which took place in Kinshasa at the Martyrs stadium which hosted the Francophonie Games this year. The Lionesses, who launched their 12th participation this Monday, faced Kenya. The teammates of Astou Ndiaye, elected best player of the match, largely imposed themselves on the opponent. Housed in group A, Senegal will play 5 group matches. The Lionesses will play Cape Verde tomorrow at 3 p.m. Note that for this tournament which brings together 12 teams, the four best ranked in each group qualify for the quarter-finals.
