Six people arrested this weekend
An operation to combat drug trafficking was carried out this weekend of November 23 and 24 in the Hautes-Alpes department, leading to the arrest of six people and the seizure of drugs. At the origin of this discovery: the gendarmes of the Briançon company, who have been investigating the actions of an alleged network in the north of the territory since 2023.
This weekend, new information in the military's possession confirms the possible delivery of goods. Quickly, a device was put in place and the vehicle was surrounded. Searches of the suspects' car and homes revealed around a kilo of cannabis resin, more than 500 grams of weed and 4,000 euros in cash.
In total, six people were arrested and taken into custody. Three will ultimately be judged.
