A new awareness operation was held this evening in Saint-Julien in Geneva
A new awareness-raising action was organized this Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. by the Haute-Savoie prefecture in conjunction with the departmental road safety squadron for all road users, particularly cyclists.
Awareness actions “Cyclists, ride safely!” At night, don't be the one you didn't see! »
What to do in the face of increasingly weak light?
Since the change to winter time between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., when leaving school or work, the light is increasingly dim. Road users, particularly cyclists, are then less visible to other users, thus exposing them to greater risk of accidents. Awareness operations are therefore deployed during the winter throughout the department, this is the case this Tuesday, November 26 at 7 p.m. in St Julien at the customs office of Perly to remind everyone of the importance of being seen, and what equipment is necessary or obligatory when traveling.
The sub-prefect and the gendarmes present
Isabelle Arrighi, sub-prefect of the district of Saint Julien-en-Genevois, accompanied by squadron leader Vincent Pautrat, commander of the departmental road safety squadron of Haute-Savoie, will attend an awareness-raising action at destination for vulnerable users: Tuesday November 26 at 7 p.m. in Saint Julien-en-Genevois (meet at the Perly customs office in Saint Julien-en-Genevois)
