A man killed his two children aged 4 and 7 before committing suicideTuesday November 26, 2024. The incident occurred at Les Avirons in Réunion, Agence France Presse (AFP) learned from a source close to the matter.

Disturbing messages sent to the children's mother

Around 9 a.m. local time, a woman, who was at her workplace, called the police after receiving worrying messages of her spouse, the same source always told AFP.

On site, in Les Avirons, the gendarmes discovered in a shed the lifeless bodies of the couple's two children aged 7 and 4, as well as that of the father who, according to the first information collected, committed suicide.

Very shockedthe mother was hospitalized. The investigations were entrusted to the Saint-Pierre research brigade and the Saint-Denis research section, the gendarmerie told AFP.
