According to the monitoring indicator published by the Solagro association, the use of herbicides and pesticides in is not decreasing. The Adonis map of pesticides produced by the Solagro association makes it possible to compare the evolution of the frequency of treatment with pesticides and herbicides, as well as organic areas in France, between 2020 and 2022. In three years, the Frequency Index national average processing rate (IFT) measured in Adonis “still does not drop and goes from 2.36 to 2.37” analyzes the group of experts. The latter nevertheless observe, over the same period, “a slight increase in areas cultivated in organic farming (+ 1.1%)”, and this in almost all departments. In and , these areas have even increased by more than 5%.

It's a “statement of failure”, with regard to the objective of the Ecophyto plan carried out by France in 2007. This aimed to reduce the use of pesticides by half in a decade. “This objective is far from being achieved,”
