Every New Year, this preconceived idea persists from year to year. Among the New Year's Eve celebrations, many expect to see fireworks near the Eiffel Tower. However, on the evening of December 31, it is not the Iron Lady that finds itself at the center of the festivities but another iconic Parisian place.
Every year the same rumor spreads. Yes, contrary to popular belief, there is generally no no fireworks from the Eiffel Tower on New Year's Eve in Paris.
And yet, the images of a fireworks show on this emblematic monument do indeed exist. And for good reason, fireworks fired from the Tour Eiffel does indeed take place every year… but at July 14t, French National Day. There was also an exceptional year during which the Dame de Fer found itself illuminated by a flamboyant show for the New Year festivities: it was during the transition to the year 2000, to mark the start of the new millennium.
However, another iconic place in the capital is traditionally the meeting place for moments of celebration, including for the New Year's Eve : these are the Champs-Elyséesknown for being the most beautiful avenue in the world.
