Traditionally scheduled for December, it will be held on 20 January 2025 while the budget vote, which usually takes place at the beginning of February, will take place in March “The State's orientations for 2025 raise fears of historic asphyxiation for the departmental assemblies, and serious difficulties, from now on, to complete the process. financial year 2024. In the event of full application of the announced measures, 85% of the Departments will find themselves in a budgetary impasse at the end of 2025, and Calvados is not spared, even if our past choices, our anticipation and our prudent management nevertheless allow us to cope better than most of our counterparts”, commented Jean-Léonce Dupont, President of the Department of Calvados, during the session of November 22 .
