Villeneuve-sur-Lot. The ADMR of Grand Villeneuvois already at holiday time

On February 20, the Rural Home Help Association of Grand Villeneuvois took up residence in a pleasant premises that it rents on the ground floor of the pretty Abadia residence, 11 rue de Gabel, in the neighborhood from Eysses to Villeneuve. A lively neighborhood where the association was quick to establish its nest in close collaboration with the population and traders.

A first assessment shows the resumption of the activity of the various personal assistance services after a somewhat difficult period following the health crisis. Today there are 250 members spread across eight municipalities (Bias, Villeneuve, Le Lédat, Casseneuil, Pujols, Allez-et-Cazeneuve, Sainte-Livrade and Sainte-Colombe-de-Villeneuve) who benefit from the good care of around thirty employees, including the jovial Sébastien, led by members of the office, a board of directors of nine volunteers and three administrative secretaries.

The return Christmas pot

Within the ADMR there is a tradition, the creation of which goes back a long way, which had been forgotten in recent years following Covid and the events in Bias that we know about, and which has recently been resumed. The tradition of the Christmas pot. Rented for the occasion, the village hall of Campagnac, commune of Lédat, welcomed the other evening at around 7 p.m. around a copious buffet the president Alain Bellettieri, the finance manager Serge Chrusnik, the two administrative secretaries Christine and Julie, the third Emilie having stayed with her charming little Louison whom she gave birth to at the beginning of the month, members of the board of directors, and 24 employees, the others being excused.

Looking for volunteers

“By definition, Christmas is a family celebration,” said Alain Bellettieri during his speech. “Tonight, it’s our ADMR party. Christmas is in a month, at a particularly difficult time for our stomachs So we wanted to resume this pleasant tradition of reunions a little in advance to spare our stomachs. This is an opportunity to meet all of us, to get to know old and new employees better and to share a friendly moment. We wish you good luck. holidays and continue to work well with our members who are impatiently waiting for you.”

To cope more effectively with the expansion of the association, the president is calling for volunteers to help the leaders.
