Mars Petcare France increases its production capacity at its Saint-Denis-de-l’Hôtel site

Mars Petcare France (Pedigree, Whiskas, Sheba, etc.) has just inaugurated, at the end of November 2024, the extension and renovation of its pet production site. Saint-Denis-de-l’Hôtel, located in the Loiret. « This ambitious project represents an investment of 120 million euros over three years », recalls the group which, in addition to creating around 80 jobs (40 people have already been recruited), is thus increasing the production capacity of its site by 44,000 tonnes per year which, in the long term, will almost double its potential.

A site established in the Loiret for over 50 years

Built in 1973, the historic Mars Petcare site currently has an annual capacity of more than 50,000 tonnes, with production rates of up to 600,000 boxes and 1 million bags per day. Mars Petcare France, for the record, achieved 800 million euros in turnover in 2023, and the year 2024 should result in sales of 885 million euros, an increase of 10.5%.
