Travel could be difficult Tuesday morning due to the freezing rain that could fall in southwestern Quebec.
A freezing rain warning was also issued by Environment Canada on Monday noon for several sectors, including Montreal and Laval.
“Surfaces, such as roads, streets, sidewalks and parking lots, may become icy and slippery,” warns the government agency.
In the majority of affected areas, freezing rain is expected in the morning on Tuesday, but “the situation could persist for several hours until early afternoon.”
