“95% of promises already fulfilled” Christophe Ramond takes stock of his mid-term in Tarn

Christophe Ramond knows that these are serious times and that this is not a time for triumphalism. “Of the 55 commitments in my inaugural speech, we have already achieved 95% of our objectives,” assures Christophe Ramond, who listed the main measures implemented for each of his skills. Like the €1 meals for middle school students and the €100 bonus for home help intended to support the purchasing power of the Tarnais. 25 new carpooling areas, 500 km of cycle paths and 200 km of departmental roads renovated each year to facilitate mobility. An “innovative Tarn looking to the future”

“We are not here to create buzz, but to respond concretely to the expectations of our fellow citizens. Our method is proximity and dialogue,” underlines the president, who announces a major “Tarn 2050” consultation to set the foundations of an “innovative future-oriented Tarn”.

But for this, it will first be necessary to clarify the financial horizon of its community, whose budget risks being considerably reduced by the next finance bill. “Even though we have been good students, we are being asked for an additional effort of 15.5 million euros which is untenable.
