1st Charity gala of the University Hospital Endowment Fund: 79,000 euros raised!

The Solid'R Health endowment fund of La Réunion University Hospital marked an important step in its development by organizing its first charity gala, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Cité des Arts. This first gala raised more than €79,000.

This event, which was intended to be the charitable event of the year, kept all its promises by bringing together a full room with 350 participants, including 75 companies and partners mobilized to support a common cause: the health and well-being of our community.

Since its creation in 2021, the Solid'R Health fund has already financed 62 projects serving patients, healthcare professionals and the population of , mobilizing nearly €500,000. These projects illustrate the fund's commitment to its four strategic axes: The well-being of patients and professionals; Innovation and research in hospitals; Culture in the hospital, for a more human and soothing approach; And social and environmental responsibility, in the service of a sustainable future.

An exceptional sum collected during this first evening

This first gala raised more than €79,000, an exceptional sum which reflects the generosity and commitment of participants and patrons. These funds will be used to finance numerous new innovative and supportive projects within the CHU and GHER establishments.

The Solid'R Health Fund would also like to warmly thank the 28 companies who played the patronage game and who contributed to the successful organization of this event.

A memorable evening marked by generosity and commitment

The evening was marked by a festive and warm atmosphere, enhanced by the presence of Manu Payet, sponsor of the fund, who offered an exceptional performance. His commitment and generosity largely contributed to the success of this event and brought together all the participants around our common cause.

With 75 companies committed to our side, the success of this evening demonstrates the importance of collective involvement to support projects that improve health and well-being in our region.
