The largest “covered” Christmas Market in Belgium returns to Hannut for its 12th edition. 205 covered stands with 41 new exhibitors

Relief car parks

The team focused, once again this year, on improving visitor reception, in particular by allowing, for the first time, visitors to leave the site without having to go through the marquees again. It will thus be possible to exit the Christmas Market from the front and back of the room.

Relief parking lots will also be set up along the zoning roads: more than 300 spaces approximately 5 minutes’ walk from the Christmas Market. Appropriate signage will be put in place on all major roads. Emphasis was also placed on the magical aspect of the site by entrusting it with a light decoration which will extend the festive decorations installed in the city center until the Christmas Market.

Saint Nicholas should pass there

The market will be open on Friday, November 29, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, November 30, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, December 1, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The organization calls on the public to spread their visits over the entire weekend, with the 3-5 p.m. time slot generally being very popular, even crowded, on Saturday and Sunday. It also calls for following the news on the organization’s website: https://marchedenoelhannut.wikeo.be/It includes, in particular, the terms of access to the Christmas Market and the range of parking possibilities nearby. . Entrance is free.

Also know that Saint Nicholas will visit the children on Saturday from 4 p.m. Two Disney mascots will also be present on Saturday, November 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. Finally, the clown Totor will host the day on Sunday. A “storytelling” space has been set up in a room adjoining the room, for children aged 5 and over.
