Epson Morocco: Five years of achievements, innovations and leadership

Epson held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new premises in Casablanca, attended by Neil Colquhoun, President of the META CWA (Middle East, Turkey, Africa, Central and West Asia) region, marking five years of presence in the Kingdom. A half-decade already rich in achievements for the world technology leader, as Ilias Azzaoui, general manager of Epson Francophone Africa, explains on La Vie Eco. In terms of human resources, the Casablanca office has grown from around ten to more than 30 employees, with a scope that extends across all of French-speaking Africa.

On the occasion of this inauguration, product demonstrations made it possible to discover innovative solutions in the field of printing and projection, highlighting the fundamental principles of the brand, embodied by the “Sho Sho Sei” concept. : compact, precise and energy-efficient technology. It should be noted that innovation is at the heart of Epson’s priorities. It is manifested in a constant commitment to bringing cutting-edge technologies, particularly in strategic sectors such as education, health and technology for homes and businesses. This ongoing commitment means that today Epson invests 1.14 million euros in research and development every day. Sustainability also takes center stage, with eco-friendly products like EcoTank printers and energy-efficient projectors helping to reduce users’ carbon footprint.

Advances in printing

Among the flagship products presented at this event, combining high performance and respect for the environment, three printer models and intelligent mini laser projectors captivated attention, promising to transform the experience of printing and home screening. In the field of printing, Epson has unveiled a new printer, the SC-S9100, compact 64 inches, which represents a significant step forward in signage printing technology. With increased productivity, user-replaceable printheads, and exceptional reproduction accuracy, users can enhance their service offerings while minimizing downtime.

Still within the SureColor product line, with the F9500 and SC-F9500H, Epson has introduced a solution that not only improves productivity and image quality, but also promotes environmentally friendly practices and reflects its commitment to favor of innovation.

Regarding the professional photography, fine arts, poster and interior signage markets, where Epson is a reference, participants were able to discover the SureColor P20500. This printer helps meet the demands of photo labs, copy shops and businesses, while delivering even greater productivity and quality.

As for the field of professional label printing, the audience was able to discover the ColorWorks C8000e, a compact industrial color label printer. It rapidly produces a variety of high-quality labels at high speed while reducing waste and environmental footprint, meeting the needs of various sectors such as food, healthcare and logistics.

Mini projectors for an immersive experience

In projection technology, Epson introduced two new smart mini laser projectors, the EF-21 and EF-22, in the “EpiqVision” range. Affordable, these new projectors allow you to enjoy an immersive image on a large screen wherever you are and offer up to 10 years of maintenance-free viewing.

Easy to install, both models display an image up to 150 inches. Compact mini laser projectors can project in any direction – on a wall, ceiling or floor. Thanks to Epson’s 3LCD technology, images are bright and vibrant, with high white and color brightness to bring even more life to the projected content.
