A few days ago, we relayed the Department's announcement about the Cotentin Association for Inclusive and Solidarity Support (Acais).

I deeply regret the politicization of the issue and the exploitation of families, which the comments made in recent days have offended: the Department is and remains a major player in solidarity.

The opposition does not see it that way

On the side of Social and environmentalist left group from the departmental council, the response to the press releases from the Department and the Cercle du Cotentin took the form of a mood post, and “far from us the sterile controversy”.

“How dare you make this dramatic unworthy episode concerning the financing (of) Acais a political affair ?, he wrote to them. […] You talk about places to be created but the service works. It's no longer a project on paper, it's a reality! This is just an artifice intended to put out the fire which the Department itself lit. »

The announcements by the President of the Department absolutely do not resolve the problem of financing the operation of the structure.

The “method” of the majority group outrages the eight signatory departmental councilors, which consists of take “vulnerable families hostageto serve the standoff between the Department and the State.”
