For years, I have understood and watched with admiration the energy deployed by the teams, the volunteers, the public around the Telethon. Research is progressing and children are living thanks to the extraordinary work of everyone. But there is still work to be done for those who do not yet have medication and for all the ongoing research that must come to fruition! This is why I am happy to be the sponsor of this 2024 edition. Without you, researchers will not advance as quickly, or worse, will no longer advance! The Telethon always needs you, your generosity. Let’s make this 2024 Telethon a big celebration!

This 38^e edition of the Telethon, whose theme is “All builders”, is an opportunity to take stock of advances and medical research in terms of rare diseases. This new large-scale operation calls above all on the generosity of the French for the research of innovative therapies. For these 48 hours of “television marathon”, France Télévisions mobilizes its antennas, its digital platforms and calls on hundreds of presenters, journalists, technicians, etc.
On the program, 30 hours of live broadcast to also highlight the commitment of thousands of volunteers mobilized in thousands of municipalities throughout France.

Together, building treatments

Friday November 29 live on France 2 from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Sophie Davant et Nagui are ready to restart the counters, accompanied by the sponsor of this new edition, Mika. They will kick off this marathon where the star will witness the families' stories, the advances in research and the unfailing mobilization of thousands of volunteers. At the heart of the legendary Telethon tavern, families, artists, volunteers, partners… will celebrate and dance in unison to wild rhythms. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the food trucks.
The fight against the disease will also take shape through the mobilization of volunteers throughout France with four ambassador cities: Avesnes-sur-Helpe, Bonifacio, Firminy and Quimper.
As for Laura Tenoudjishe will once again be at the helm of the Great Solidarity Tombola. Everyone can try their luck by purchasing a 10 euro ticket. The key is unique experiences and prizes offered by artists, singers and athletes. Please note, some winners will be drawn live.

All on stage for the Telethon

On France 3 from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Viewers will join in the dance for the Telethon! The stage will be adorned with the lights of Broadway to invite the public to a great popular ball. Sophie Davant et Cyril Féraud will set the rhythm of a program punctuated with emotion and shows. Throughout the evening, alongside researchers and families, they will highlight the builders of tomorrow's medicine and the urgency of continuing to mobilize for those waiting for treatment.
In reports, journalists Emilie Tran Nguyen, Julian Bugier and the “big reporter” Stephanie Perez will share moments of the patients’ lives. They will also come and testify on set.
On the stage, it's time for shows, with the greatest musicals, the acrobatics of Cirque Phénix, the mischief of Gus the illusionist or a crazy medley from the cult show Les Franglaises. And at the Gallery, Laura Tenoudji will draw lots for the Grande Tombola.
The towns of Avesnes-sur-Helpe, Bonifacio, Firminy and Quimper will compete in duplex in an XXL game with muscular, fun and crazy challenges, between tradition and modernity.

Under the lanterns of the Guinguette, a large popular ball will be in full swing in a festive atmosphere reflecting the incredible mobilization of the French for the Telethon.

Around Mika, Let's sing for the Telethon will have the solidarity choir beating for a giant karaoke with a hundred amateur choristers on the main stage of the Telethon.
Renowned artists and Telethon partners (the La Poste Group, the EDF Foundation, the Lions Club, the National Federation of French Firefighters, Optic 2000, JouéClub, the Carrefour Group and France Télévisions) will take up the challenge of lend their voices to support the fight of patients and their families. They will demonstrate their generosity by singing and reveal the fruits of their collection to make the counter climb ever higher.

The big Telethon party

Sophie Davant, Nagui et Mika will become builders of dreams and hopes for those who are still waiting for treatment. On the program for this final stretch of the Telethon, exceptional encounters and highlights. Thanks to donations from the French, research is progressing and treatments are now seeing the light of day! These shadowy heroes will be brought to light. They will be accompanied by patients for whom the Telethon has already changed everything.
For others, time is running out and we must not give up. This is the case of Felicie14 years old, one of our sparkling ambassadors. Mika went to meet him to give him back a smile and hope. The rugby legend Antoine Dupont will also be there to provide strength and support to patients and their families. Just like the Paralympic judo medalist Hélios Latchoumanaya. The comedian Philippe Caverivière also gave his time by meeting Sacha8 years old, another of our young ambassadors.
The evening will also of course take place with music… Hundreds of volunteer choristers and partners will unite their voices alongside numerous artists. A giant and supportive karaoke.
In the heart of the Guinguette, the most daring will give their muscles through unusual sporting disciplines. After the effort, they can enjoy food thanks to the food trucks.
