Gauthier Sylvestre and the Concarne reserve have fun against Landerneau

The US Concarneau reserve had fun this Sunday, November 24, on its lawn. Against Landerneau, the Thoniers won largely (5-0), notably with a very good Gauthier Sylvestre. At 19, the midfielder delivered a successful match with a goal and an assist. The opportunity for him to look back on the delivery of his training.

What do you remember from this match, marked by a great collective and individual performance?

We needed this victory to give us confidence, because the last matches were complicated. We managed to put more rhythm and creativity into our game. It was good for everyone. On an individual level, I'm happy to have had a good match, but the main thing is that it helped the team. That's always what matters most.

Your team is very young compared to your opponents in R1. Do you sometimes feel a lack of experience?

Yes, against certain teams, you can feel a difference, especially in terms of maturity. But it's up to us to make the effort to fill this gap and compete with all the teams in the championship. It's a challenge that we take seriously and we work hard to progress at this level.

What are the keys to bridging this difference?

We try to put a lot of intensity, from the first to the 90e minute. The objective is not to be trapped by weak times and to maintain a high pace throughout the meeting. This is what we try to do to be more consistent and efficient.

What are the objectives for this season, both collective and personal?

On a collective level, the goal is to progress together and finish as high as possible. We learn a lot throughout the matches and it is by continuing in this dynamic that we will be able to achieve our objectives. Personally, above all I want to have fun, help the team by making others play and continue to progress in all aspects of my game.
