The city of is participating in the “Beauty will save the world” campaign, which consists of placing works of art on advertising sites. Since November 16, and for three weeks, works by Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh have been visible on buses on the Tul network.

The Poppies by Claude Monet, The Moulin de la Galette Ball by Auguste Renoir or La Méridienne also says nap by Vincent Van Gogh. Since Saturday November 16, 2024, works by well-known painters have been displayed on the back of six buses from the Laval Urban Transport bus network which circulate on lines C, D, F and G in Laval and its surrounding area.

As early as November 15, Laval residents were able to notice the painting The Périssoires (1878), by the French painter Gustave Caillebotte on the facade of the town hall.

Until December 8

An unusual exhibition organized as part of the national campaign “Beauty will save the world”. For three weeks, in around twenty French cities, works of art are visible in advertising locations.

The Grand Palais – Réunion des musées nationaux transfers the copyright at a reduced rate (€56 per painting used) for “bringing art and beauty to everyone”. An initiative to discover until Sunday December 8, 2024.
