At the 106th congress of mayors, Laurent Suau, the president of the department, Guylène Pantel, the senator, and Xavier Marette, the territorial director of ARS Occitanie, praised the advantages of Mobisanté 48 to the Minister of Health and 'Access to care as well as the Minister of Solidarity.
On the occasion of 106e congress of mayors, which was held from Monday 18 to Thursday 21 November, Laurent Suau, president of the Department, Guylène Pantel, senator, and Xavier Marette, departmental director of ARS Occitanie in Lozère, met Geneviève Darrieussecq, Minister of Health and Access to Care, and Paul Christophe, Minister of Solidarity, to promote the Mobisanté 48 system.
The Mobisanté 48, is a new system, fully funded by the Regional Health Agency to the tune of €180,000 for its first year. This real mobile medical office serves four communities lacking a general practitioner: Serverette, Châteauneuf-de-Randon, Le Massegros-Causses-Gorges and La Bastide-Puylaurent.

It allows people who are out of care or without a treating doctor to benefit from a consultation. He is supported by the Lozère Avenir Santé Association, chaired by Élodie Repole, general practitioner in Saint-Étienne-du-Valdonnez. It was presented to the national refoundation council, in Mende, in 2022.
The Mobisanté 48 is part of the government measures of 100 medical buses. The particularity of Lozère is the obtaining of an exemption, on an experimental basis, to employ retired doctors with whom a nurse is associated on the prevention part. The Lozère Avenir Santé Association requested the sustainability of the system and its improvement.
“People have not consulted for fifteen years”
In 2025, Mobisanté 48 will go out two days a week to several municipalities in the department, for around twenty consultations during each trip.
“This remains a palliative measure, estimates the team of the Association Lozère Avenir Santé. This allows us to seek out people who are giving up care. Some have not consulted for fifteen years.“
Soon a ministerial visit to Lozère
An exchange appreciated by the team of the Lozère Avenir Santé Association which requested the sustainability of the system and its improvement. During the questions to the government that followed, the minister highlighted the Lozère system. Date was taken for a visit to Lozère.
