The time has come for voters to choose the MPs who will represent them in their constituency. Indeed, the first round of early legislative elections takes place this Sunday, June 30, 2024. They were scheduled after the dissolution of the National Assembly, decided by the President of the Republic following the last European elections.
In France, following this first and second round (Sunday, July 7, 2024), a total of 577 deputies will be designated. As a reminder, these members of Parliament can vote on laws, but also submit bills. In addition, the deputies represent the French people, and have the power to question the government on its actions with written or oral questions.
