Sunday, December 1, the Maison de la Biodiversité at La Thomassine in Manosque is transformed into the epicenter of Provençal traditions with the Day of Fruits and Flavors of Yesteryear. Organized by the Luberon Regional Natural Park, this event highlights the culinary and agricultural heritage of the region. On the program, a unique sensory immersion: tastings of local products, sale of old plants, captivating conferences and demonstrations around traditional agricultural practices. The youngest are not forgotten with educational games and a climate fresco which will raise awareness of the importance of preserving our environment. Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover the orchards and conservatory gardens, true living treasures of biodiversity.
Convenient access
To reach the event, a free shuttle service will be available from Manosque, with a park and ride located in La Rochette. Early risers can park directly at La Thomassine, although spaces are limited.
