A 66-year-old man was found dead on the evening of Saturday, November 23, stabbed, in his apartment in Voiron (Isère), about twenty kilometers north of Grenoble, and his wife was taken into police custody shortly after. the macabre discovery, the Grenoble prosecutor's office said this Sunday.
Aged 70, the victim's wife was interviewed on Sunday morning by police officers from the local judicial police service in Voiron, prosecutor Eric Vaillant told the press, confirming information from the regional daily Le Dauphiné Libéré.
The alert given by the one who carried out the stabbings
According to the newspaper, it was the septuagenarian herself who alerted a neighbor on Saturday around 6:30 p.m., shortly after having stabbed her husband “several times” during an altercation which “degenerated”.
This neighbor then contacted the police and emergency services, the latter being unable to resuscitate the victim on site, according to this source.
