In a report published in October, the Regional Chamber of Auditors (CRC) pointed out the degraded situation of child protection in Loire-Atlantique. How did you receive this report?
When I read this report, I don't learn anything. I am not ignoring the situation and I am not minimizing it. It should be noted, however, that this report is a review of the recommendations made to the Department in 2019, that the study dates from 2022 and that the report is presented in 2024. Things have been done since these findings.
The CRC highlights the 17% increase in the number of children in care, while the overall reception capacity of the department decreased, due to the drop in the number of family assistants. Where are we in 2024?
