It was ultimately Bonato who had the last word. Bonato finished the rally as he started it by setting the best time. Back after his big crash in the Vosges, Bonato and his co-driver Benjamin Boulloud took second place in the Championship.
Very incisive this morning Franceschi took the second step of the podium ahead of Rossel, the new French Rally Champion.
Best performer in the rally, Eric Camilli (i20 N Rally2-Team Bonneton HDG-2C Compétition) lost all hope of victory after a puncture in SS 6. He finished in fourth place ahead of Anthony Fotia (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Academy GT2i).
Winner of the 2-Wheel Drive classification in Sainte-Maxime, the Cédric Robert-Matthieu Duval tandem wins a new title of French 2-Wheel Rally Champion, as in 2022.
