Like every year, the Carentan Telethon committee (Manche) is getting ready to go an intense weekend of entertainment with the numerous local associations.
The next edition of the Telethon will take place on the weekend from Friday 29 to Sunday 1is December 2024 with many activities, the highlight of which will be the traditional gourmet walk said dinner stroll in the moonlight.
Sports tournaments
Three departures will be launched from Jean-Truffaut gymnasium at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. “for approximately 8 km with gourmet breaks”. Registrations open on www.klilego.com or at the town hall of Saint-Hilaire-Petitville€14 per person, €8 for children under 12 years old.
Check made payable to AFM-Téléthon. On Friday evening, several sports tournaments will be organized by different clubs in the city.
A bike ride
Saturday morning at 10 a.m., departure of a hiking bike of 40 km or 30 km (€5 participation) which will lead the cyclists through the swamps.
Other entertainment: the traditional sale of madeleines “which works very well. We have already sold several pallets, 2,160 packages of 13 madeleines, or 228,080 madeleines.” The hyacinths will be potted from Monday November 25 and offered for sale from Thursday in the dedicated stands.
