His vital prognosis is in jeopardy. A 22-year-old man was seriously injured by police officers in Saint-Mandé (Val-de-Marne) on the night of Friday November 22 to Saturday November 23, according to the Créteil public prosecutor's office. He had robbed three BAC police officers with a 9 mm pistol, before they opened fire, wounding him three times.
BAC police officers had been called as reinforcements to Saint-Mandé to arrest this man, reported a little earlier for his worrying behavior. The latter “did not leave” made and took out “a real weapon”according to the Créteil public prosecutor's office.
Two investigations were opened: one entrusted to the IGPN (the “police of police”) to “determine whether there is a state of self-defense”and the other for attempted murder of a person holding public authority, threats and carrying weapons, the prosecution having specified that the man also had a knife on him.
The prosecution also denied any rumor of anti-Semitic remarks made by the accused, as indicated by certain media.
