The day after the finish judged in Rimini, on the Adriatic Sea, the peloton will set off a few kilometers further north, in Cesenatico (Italy), for the second stage of the Tour de France. After nearly 200 kilometers (199.2), the riders will reach Bologna on Sunday, June 30. The puncher-climbers should be at stake for victory there.

The challenge
Winner of the first stage, wearing the yellow jersey, Romain Bardet will have to count on the support of his team, dsm-firmenich PostNL, to keep his jersey. With the San Luca hill (1.9 km at 10.6%) – to be climbed twice -, some puncher-climbers could find the ideal playground to make the difference and why not steal the leader’s place in the general classification.
