Miremont. The Department supporting the canton of

Due to an increasingly constrained budgetary situation, the Department of Haute-Garonne has initiated a process of in-depth control of its expenses. This does not mean, however, that support for the many actors and projects in the region will stop. During the last standing committee of the Haute-Garonne departmental council, subsidies were voted to carry out multiple projects for the canton of , on the proposal of Sophie Touzet and Jérôme Bouteloup, departmental councilors of Haute-Garonne. In order to guarantee balanced and harmonious development of our territory, support for municipalities in the implementation of their projects has been reaffirmed. These include the rehabilitation work on the Labastidette football field, the installation of shade structures in the courtyards of the Lamasquère schools and the acquisition of furniture for the Saint-Clar-de-Rivière nursery school. Associative life, a fundamental element of social ties and local activity, has not been forgotten. Three associations in the canton received grants to support their operation and the organization of cultural and sporting events or those aimed at strengthening social cohesion.

Finally, a new payment of aid for school catering was voted for all the canton's colleges: Pablo Picasso in Frouzins, Ginette Kolinka in Seysses, Bétance, Louisa Paulin and Joseph Niel in Muret. Real support for the purchasing power of families, this aid allows many middle school students to benefit from partial or total free canteen service. Through this assistance, Sophie Touzet and Jérôme Bouteloup once again illustrate their commitment to the dynamism of the canton of Muret.
