On November 27, Cajarc will live to the rhythm of the Olympics with the arrival of the symbols of the Olympic Games, including the flame and the mascots. The event, organized by the community of municipalities with the support of the Occitanie region, will highlight the values and the Olympic spirit, with a unique animation orchestrated by the Aviron club Cajarcois (ACC).
From 10 a.m., the ACC rowers will liven up the river with a ballet of boats on the Lot. This festive and dynamic staging will celebrate sporting excellence and allow the public to discover the discipline that shone during the last Olympic Games.
A moment of sharing around the Olympic symbols
Although the Olympic flame is symbolically present and extinguished, it embodies the values of surpassing oneself and fraternity supported by Olympicism. The Games mascots, made available by the Lot departmental Olympic committee, as well as educational materials, will enrich this day. The event aims to bring all audiences closer to the Olympic world.

This celebration is organized as part of the Olympic fortnight piloted by the community of municipalities, with the assistance of the participating municipalities, in particular Cajarc, as well as the valuable support of the Occitanie region. The Lot departmental Olympic committee and the OIS also contributed by providing mascots and educational tools, while local sports clubs, such as the ACC, relay this Olympic spirit as close as possible to residents.
