Jean Paul Gaultier: an auction will take place this weekend in

At the Fashion Pantheon, Jean-Paul Gaultier is a pillar, but above all an eternal rebel. This weekend, Maurice Action is organizing a preview of 41 pieces imagined by the designer. In fact, it is possible for the public to see nearly a decade of developments, creations and innovations through iconic clothing – worn by equally iconic personalities. For the occasion, this collection comes directly from the wardrobe Mouna Ayoub. Just before the auction, these pieces of history will then be able to be observed by fans of French fashion.

In the meantime, each work will be presented at Maurice Action on Saturday November 23 and Sunday November 24, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. An event open to the general public. Exceptional vintage pieces

Among the pieces to discover during this weekend: evening dresses, jumpsuits and accessories. We find a skirt of pearls embroidered by the House Lesagefrom the fall-winter 1998 collection, a strapless denim dress, a kilt from the fall-winter 1998-1999 collection… For the record, the design of the latter would have taken the house team 68 hours John Paul Gaultier.
